GREENSBORO, NC — Lodi High School (N.J.) triple jumper Chris Phipps, (pictured above with coaches), garnered a silver medal at the Nike Outdoor Nationals with a mark of 49-feet-4.5. One of the top prep horizontalists in the nation, Phipps jumped 50-feet-5 at the Bergen County Meet of Champs in Hackensack, New Jersey, in May.
