ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Arizona high school standouts and national phenoms Bryce Lamb and Will Claye won each of the horizontal jumps at the Great Southwest Classic on Saturday, June 7, 2008.

Lamb covered a distance of 25-feet-9.75 in the long jump and Claye, who is the No. 1 ranked prep triple jumper in the United States, posted a mark of 51-feet-0.25 to win the event.

In 2007, Lamb qualified for and participated as a member of the athletics team representing the United States at the World Youth Games in the Czech Republic. This year, Claye has qualified to participate in the triple jump at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
