MARSHEVET HOOKERWACO — Taking only two of six attempts in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships on Saturday, May 13, UT Austin superwoman Marshevet Hooker won gold with an effort of 21-feet-11.75.
Hooker finished five and three-quarters-of-an-inch ahead of University of Kansas silver medalist Charisse Bacchus, who jumped 21-feet-6.
