SAMANTHA HAMILTONKILLEEN — Samantha Hamilton of C.E. Ellison High School hopped, stepped and jumped into the No. 2 position in the state with an outstanding performance at the Roo Relays on Saturday, March 31.
Early morning overcast cleared as the 2006 state finalist, Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic Games medalist and the defending Texas Relays champion unleashed a personal best distance of 39-feet-11.

Sam this is my babes!! lol... i see you got out there to a 39'11'', but i wish you're coach would've let you keep jumping to get that 40. You still did ya thang, and stay holdin it down for us as triple jumpers.
