AUSTIN — Texas City High School senior Whitney Prevost III tripled in the long jump (23-feet-3), 100 meters (10.45 seconds) and 200 meters (20.99) to win gold during the University Interscholastic League class 4A state track and field championships on Friday, May 11, at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
