ZEDRIC THOMAS GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA — Gulf Coast native Zedric Thomas of New Iberia, Louisiana, placed third in the finals of the Nike Outdoor National Track and Field Championships on the campus of North Carolina A&T University.
Thomas covered a distance of 24-feet-5½ in the long jump, for a silver medal, and 48-feet-10¾ in the triple jump, to claim the bronze.
