TROY DORIS WALNUT, CALIFORNIA — The world outside of the state of Illinois came to know the name Troy Doris, earlier this year, when a YouTube posting of the senior jumping 52-plus feet spread like wildfire after it first appeared on the net.
Doris backed up his early season 52 with an outstanding performance at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on Thursday, July 26, posting a national-leading 52-feet-5½.
